About Us

Consec - Conference Management (Consec) is a division of Neame Consultancy Pty Ltd, a company registered with the Australian Securities Commission (ABN 46056292169). Consec was established in Canberra in 1995 and has successfully managed, a large range of diverse meetings, conferences, exhibitions and events since that time - nationally, New Zealand and Fiji.

Contracts

For every event, Consec provides a consultancy agreement with details of the services to be provided, terms and conditions and financial particulars.

Fees

Consec works on either a project management fee or a per delegate fee. Disbursements (including photocopying, postage, freight,telephone/fax/email, name badges holders/lanyards, satchels, graphic design, printing, travel/accommodation, audio visual, credit card and bank fees etc) are extra costs to the project management or per delegate fee. All costs include GST.

Office Systems

Consec uses "EventsInteractive" conference management software and MYOB financial software, a microsoft platform and ADSL broadband internet connection. Consec's office is in Belconnen, ACT and the office is 230sqm in area providing a boardroom, two individual offices, workstations area, a dedicated computer server room, a work utility area, storeroom and kitchen. Computers are networked to a central server with firewall. Consec staff work in a secure environment with appropriate insurance cover, server with backup (backup tapes are stored offsite) and a back to base security system.

Performance Standards

Consec is a member of both Meetings & Events Australia (MEA)and the Professional Conference Organisers Association (PCO) to which they are bound by their respective Codes of Ethics.

Director, Pamela Neame,AMM is an accredited meetings manager through MEA - which shows proven competency in this industry and is a strong indication of her ability to achieve high standards and ethical practice for meetings management projects.
Director, Barry Neame,CEM is a Certified Event Manager through the Professional Conference Organisers (PCO) Association - which shows proven competency in this industry.

Barry Neame is the ACT representative on the PCO Council. This Association sets business standards for member companies and Consec is compliant with these business standards.

Consec-Conference Management is a Certified Event Company - a certification through the Professional Conference Organisers (PCO) Association - certification is based on a combination of quantitative and qualitative assessments of intelligence/academic ability, industry qualifications, experience and quality of delivery.

Memberships
