Who we are

Consec - Conference and Event Management (Consec) is a division of Neame Consultancy Pty Ltd (ABN 46056292169), a company registered with the Australian Securities Commission. Consec was established in Canberra in 1995 and has successfully managed, a large range of diverse meetings, conferences, exhibitions and events since that time - nationally, New Zealand, Hawaii, Singapore and Fiji. Our work puts the interests of our staff and clients first and is based upon lawful and ethical management. Consec's mission is to be a successful business, as a result of our five star commitment, and to be the catalyst for the success of projects we manage.

    Consec-Conference and Event Management use MYOB fianancial software, a microsoft platform, VDSL and ADSL broadband internet connection which is networked through a secure central server. Consec has an off-site recorded backup system protected by advanced security and firewall systems.

    Performance Standards

    Consec is a member of Professional Conference Organisers Association (PCO) to which they are bound by their code of Ethics. Director, Barry Neame, CEM is a Certified Event Manager through the Professional Conference Organisers (PCO) Association.

    The PCO Association sets business standards for member companies and Consec is compliant with these business standards. Consec-Conference and Event Management is a Certified Event Company - a certification through the Professional Conference Organisers (PCO) Association - certification is based on a combination of quantitative and qualitative assessments of intelligence/academic ability, industry qualifications, experience and quality of delivery.

The costings take account of the intellectual knowledge and experience of our team, infrastructure, software, systems and procedures. Consec will provide a consultancy agreement with terms and conditions including financial specifics.

    Consec has a demonstrated track record in project management and coordination of commercially viable national conferences and trade exhibitions. Over the past 20 years we have managed many conferences/meetings/award dinners/events. Excellent financial management of events is something Consec prides itself in and has a proven track record in achieving a positive outcome by accuracy of budgets, firm financial management and reconciliation of income and expenditure.
